One Last Thing...

Last present I gave...
The last present I gave was a check for $50 for my friends birthday. However, I have 2 surprises for 2 other friends sitting in my room that I'm waiting to give to them.

Last vice I indulged in...
ummm.... Is shopping a vice? Well if so... I recently bought a pair of Levi's Black Super Skinny Jeans.

I last forgot my wallet....
in my hotel room when I went to Puerto Rico about 6 weeks ago. I was on my way out to the beach and forgot my wallet with my room key, my money and my ID. Luckily, my friend still had her room key in her beach bag.

Last sunburn I got....
After I got back from Puerto Rico and I went tanning with my friend. The next day, my skin was really red, tender to the touch and began to peel and flake.

These last few days...

I've been pretty busy these last few days. I started work on Thursday. I've been attempting to see all of my friends and I've also been trying to enjoy the last few days of summer.

So lets start with work! I've put in 19 hours at my new job. Oh if I haven't mentioned it already, I just started working at Cold Stone Creamery! I absolutely hate it! My boss sits at home and watches us from her living room via the security system. She keeps complaining about me to my supervisor but won't actually come in and help out or train me herself but she can call in and complain. I really want to quit but I'm not a quitter and I can't give up this early in the ball game. I said I was up for the challenge and I'm going to have to stick with it.

I've also spent a lot of time seeing my friends before they all leave for college. I've also spent a lot of time with one friend's family in particular. I went to her brother's hockey practice with their mom, played a prank on my friend with her brother, went to breakfast and lunch and boating with her dad and brother. I don't even think of them as friends anymore but more like family.

I'm working really hard on setting up my business. But I've also been trying to enjoy each and every last day of summer before reality hits and its time to go back to school. Well, it's really starting school. I've been trying to get my last minute school-switching details settled so I can start school next week and take time off when I have my surgery.

I like to use bins, baskets and hooks to make sure that everything has a place and is in it. I also like to organize things by color.

Wardrobe Wednesday: Be Dapper Like David!

Hey! So it's Wardrobe Wednesday. This week's style inspiration comes from David Beckham. I love his style. For an athlete, he is very put together. Well then again, not every athlete is this handsome and this fashionable. You can take the man out the UK but you can't take the UK out of the man. He always looks so proper without seeming prim and uptight while managing to look chivalrous, sophisticated and most importantly... Posh (pun intended). Out of all my favorite Beckham looks, here are a random 10 from the ChivSoph David Beckham Fashion Files.

I love the Father-Son matching, especially since Brooklyn is dressed a little more casual without a blazer.

I really want a cardigan with a shawl collar now.

Beaming and showing the pearly whites while carrying the Olympic Torch in a suit while most carry it in athletic gear. Leave it to Beckham to be different. 

Pink cleats? I don't think any other Soccer/Football (non-American) would dare to adorn their feet with these.

David clearly doesn't think that he can look like a bum in the airport.

Only he could pull of a sweatshirt over a shirt and tie on a red carpet next to his wife. 

David still manages to look put together and pristine even with his button down sticking out from underneath his cardigan.

Personal Update

These last couple of days have been absolutely crazy! I've been spending a lot of time with my friends from high school before they leave for college because I'm sticking around and going to a local college. Not only do I start school in 2 weeks but I start training for my new job in 2 days! On top of all of this, there is my upcoming surgery, doctors appointments, and a whole bunch of meetings pertaining to this blog and my impending business ventures. I'm going to try to write my posts in bulk and have them scheduled to release at different times in case I get to be super busy and I don't have the time to sit and write a post everyday or every-other-day.

MOTIVATIONAL MONDAY: UNLIMITED SUCCESS

Vogue has me going gaga

So last week Lady Gaga released her new vogue cover! And I have to admit... I'm not really that crazy about it. Between the ugly fuchsia floor length gown and her over the top afro, there's just too much going on here. I don't know what to look it; There's all the cover stories and headlines, the ugly banner behind "VOGUE", Gaga's lavender skin, or the hair and dress. I'm not easily distracted or disgusted by fashion magazines. But I am absolutely appalled by this year's September Issue by Vogue. I want to know what Anna Wintour was thinking when she either came up with this idea to put her on the cover or when she ok'd it. I hope the photos and the story inside are a hell of a lot better because I can't take this...

P.S. When you think of Lady Gaga, do you think of over the top bizarre clothing or a high fashion cover girl? I think of the former. The latter didn't even remotely come to mind. 

Wardrobe Wednesday: Kanye West

There's no doubt that Kanye West has his head on his shoulders especially when it comes to his fashion choices. ...Even when he goes a little bit overboard. His matching ensembles with Kim Kardashian can be a little overbearing and extreme but they do look good together. I have to give it to him Kanye can definitely pull off leather pants, a task that many people ...let alone men haven't been able to do in a very long time.

Obsession Tuesday: The Hermes Birkin Bag

Typically Tuesday would be saved for my Tumblr finds but I felt the need to share some pictures of the amazing Birkin bag. 

If you knew me personally, you would know that I have an insane obsession with the Hermes Birkin. I can smell them from a mile away. Ok maybe not literally, but I can spot one from a pretty good distance. 

I'm starting to notice that the Birkin and the Birkin-look-alike (the HAC) are starting to become more and more unisex as more men are using them instead of using an ugly satchel or man purse or even utilizing them as a briefcase.
